I'm considering making a purchase from flowerhorns from beyond. Am I correct in understanding that everything posted on the site (flowerhornsfrombeyond.com) is from Julie Tran, and what she personally has in stock stateside already? What is a typical shipping amount for 1 box? (I live in the midwest, fyi)

I'm mostly leaning towards picking up some thai silk fry to grow out; does the smaller size of the fry have an effect on the shipping price?

As I stated above, I'm only looking for responses from people who HAVE ACTUALLY DEALT WITH HER AND HAD FISH SHIPPED TO THEM. Don't waste your time posting what you "think" the case is. I'm not asking for opinions.

Julie is a good transhipper and I have had no problems with here and she is nice to deal with also. I used her twice and I also have A red Tex with her now.

why don't u just not waste ur time and email her or call her directly i am pretty sure she could give u all the info u are seeking and it would be 100% accurate

If you are buying from her stock that she has and not from another seller then you don't need to worry about box cost, heat packs, etc. You just pay shipping but which service you choose effects the price. I use USPS because its cheaper and she is closer to me, I only pay $35 or so for overnight on a few fish. You order more fish and it can increase the shipping cost but you would have to ask her.

She can be hard to get a hold sometimes but once you do she will treat you right. She is the best transshipper in the US and a great seller. Have never received a dead fish from her and I don't know anyone who has. Bought about 10 fish from her in the past.

She be getting a couple fish from her in 2 weeks from Thailand.

I'm not ordering for a week or two. Unlike most people on this site who come in using bad grammar, broken english, no punctuation and repeatedly ask the same question over and over, I prefer to get my information from folks on here who have dealt with her in the past. Enjoy being enlightened?

i am only going to say one thing but u have really got to be joking about the bad English (English is capitalized) broken grammar thing right?? there are people from all over the world, and they all belong to this site.

You assumed. I'm not talking about people from around the world. Thanks for attempting to derail a thread. He's trying to tell me what to do when I'm properly going about obtaining a fish that will be properly cared for. That's lacking on this forum, and especially in this corner of it.
