000_0183.JPG000_0188.JPG000_0189.JPG000_0186.JPGwent to ppg aquarium in pittsburgh and snapped a couple pics of these monsters. pics dont these fish justice. definitely the largest midas ive ever seen and what was wierd was that in a tank that large they actually seemed to hang out in schools and there was no aggression at all.

The one in the first pic looks like an absolute monster.

There's a member on here (MelO) that has a 600 gal with labiatums, citrinellums, and chanchos with what seems to be very little aggression as well. Maybe this is a hint to the fact that these fish NEED that extra room to coexist in a community setting.

^ i agree, there wasnt evena single nipped fin. I have watched mels videos countless times and noticed the same thing. yes the one in the first pic was ridiculously huge and there was a bigger one that just stayed way in the back and i couldnt get a pic

I watch Mel's videos every chance I get. Love his fishroom and commentary.

How far is that place from the train station in Pittsburgh.

+1 Time for more updates Mel, your fanclub is getting hungry! :D

Great looking Amphs, I've got 10 around 2-3" in a 210g (180x75cm footprint) so I guess I'll find out just how much room they need to coexist...
