So, I think this has been brought up on the forum before, but has anyone actually experimented with this stuff? Seachem says for denitrification to occur it needs to be kept in a sealed container with 50 gallons per hour or less of tank water flowing through it.
I have a fluidized bed filter laying around I could easily rig a small pump to to try it out...
Thoughts? I'm not trying to affect my water change schedule at all (I really don't mind water changes honestly), I just am more curious than anything. Feel free to also discuss deep sand beds or anything related to the topic in freshwater tanks.
