what pleco did i buy?

i bought this little guy today from petsmart, they had him listed as just a plecostomus he definetly stood out among the commons, hes about 2 1/2 - 3in at the moment. sorry if the pictures are a little fuzzy, im new to aquarium photography so im still figuring stuff out.

thanks, he's a lighter almost white in color with the darker spots, is that just camo for the juveniles?

That is a pretty typical coloration for them. They usually are not much darker than that.

Yep, You can tell it's not a Pterygoplichthys(common) because it's only got 7 rays in it's dorsal fin. He shouldn't get past 12 inches.

thanks, thats great news... he's in a 75g now but i have plans for a 250-300 in the works in about a year or so hopefully.

im also planning on getting a L200, i believe a green phanotom, in a couple months
