Hey folks,

A m8 of mine is selling me pair on eBay however hasnt got much interest and m8 suggests I lower price even though paid 270pnds for them at 5 & 6" plus 250pnds for tranship costs so total cost was 500+Uk pounds.

Its at 250pnds atm and male is 9" and female 8".What yae think would be a decent price for them from pics below?

For some reason they havent bred at all dispite them breeding when rainny had them. Ive tried everything to get them to breed in 9+months but nae luck.Me jags started too breed on day 3 of having them and wasnt a pair, nae luck at all ;(

Considering what you have in to them I'd just hang on to them, switch things up, move them around, change their tank, add some new fish to their tank, feed them Russian caviar, whatever it takes to get their mo jo on. It could still happen.
As non breeders no one is going to pay anything even remotely close to what you did for those 2 fish.

Were you planning to just breed them?

oh aye just too breed to provide too Uk as not much around here if any good quality ones. 9+ months no breeding at all or egges. Me mbunas and jags breed all the time so maybe just the fish or some shock from the terrible transhipping job from Germany.

oh aye did all that, increasing temp 1oC for few days then up again. Change new water with slighlty colder temp for the cold rainy breeding effect but nae luck.
Sent rainy an email to ask what type of water hardness,ph, temp he had them in but nae reply for while now.

Wow. Hmm have you tried splitting them up and trying to pair them with another fish just to see if they will spawn then? If they do then maybe you could try to put them back together again. Or just splitting them up for awhile and then reintroduce them.

What works for me i keeping the regular temp in the mid 80's and doing a cool water change mabey 2x a week. It triggered my jags, v. synspilum, flowerhorn & rosequeens to spawn
