Petition To Shut Down Petco and Etc.!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm going to petition to magically change the taste of my ramen noodle dinner to Kobe filet mignon and truffle mashed potatoes.

I'm going to state that the OP was serious in posting this thread. That means, if you are not going to contribute, then don't post.

I am guessing the chain stores that you visit do not do a good job in treating their animals? It may be better to target those stores in particular and protest them in which ever way you feel fit. There are a few petcos and petsmarts that I visit that have staff that know what they are talking about and do a great job at taking care of their animals (including the fish), not all chain's are bad so it makes it hard to target an entire chain when the problem is with certain stores.

i think ash has the right of it here. while i don't support my local petco/petsmart, it may be prudent to start local and go bigger if that is what you want to do. just my 2 cents.

The manager of the fish section at my local Petco is a member of the Twin Cities Reef Club and has amazing salt and fresh water tanks. I don't keep salt - yet, but they have a variety of freshwater fish that you don't see in the big chain stores - gold nugget plecos, orange head geos, a wide selection of rainbow fish and etc.

Also, my local Petsmart, while not having the selection of the Petco, keeps their tanks very clean and their fish seem to be in good condition (I don't like that they sell Pacu but at least while they keep the Pacu they don't cram 10 of them in a 20g tank while they wait to sell).

Associating this with MFK would just make the entire forum like look like a bunch of adolescent idiots. Pokemon politics don't work in the real world. Thinking you can 'shut down' a NASDAQ-listed, publicly traded corporation (because they hurt your feelings) if you get a bunch of friends to sign a piece of paper shows you have the mental capacity of a 12-year old.
