Where's all the Big Festae?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Unfortunately I have parted ways with my guy. Late last week in fact. I guess sometimes water volume doesn't account for anything. He was getting more and more aggressive everyday. He took out my pearsei unfortunately. That I could have lived with but then he started on the bocourti. That I couldn't have so the hard decision was made. It was probably the hardest choice I have ever had to make over fish.

That sucks you had to get rid of him... who has him now?? anyone on here?? If not, I'm gonna miss updates of that guy. I thought the Midas was challenging him for the #2 spot in your tank?? What ever happened there?? Sorry to hear about your Pearsei and I'm glad that the Bocourti was not next. Who else is in the 800 besides the Jag and Bocourti??

I was thinking about this super big humped male again^. When I 'borrowed' this picture, the guy posted that it's 15-16". Maybe they get the big hump when they grow that large??? And I didn't know because I haven't seen many if any 16" Festae??? I hope not. I like the way mine's is now. :D

Wow I have never seen a festae with a nuchal that size! Thanks for posting the pic.
