Beef heart or blood worms?

Whats better for my oscar and jaguar cichlid, relating to growth, coloration, digestion, etc.. Beef heart or blood worms?

I personally would never use beefheart but some swear by it. For me blood worms but only as a treat. Get a good pelet like NLS.

I agree. mamal meat isn't good for cichlids. A pellet diet is bets, but can also feed shrimp, krill, and feeders like livebarers (not often though). No goldfish.

Bloodworms are gonna be better. But use supplemental

NLS, Xtreme or another quality pellet + earthworms (or red wigglers).

I've never used beef heart...and blood worms will cost you a fortune for 2 big fish...

IMO bood worms. Warm blooded animal is not good to give to fish. It can be hard for a fish to break down the fat tissue found in warm blood meat.

Bloodworms but don't make that their primary source of food. Get them on a good pellet and mix that up with some flake.

Use both as a treat while using a good pellet as a staple. I alternate between beefheart cube one day and then a bloodworm cube the next. However my new world cichlids definitely prefer the bloodworms and It is also not as messy as beefheart which is a big deal with messy eaters such as oscars.
