How did your fish's feces?
Maybe he has a problem in the intestines, or other fish scares him and consequently he does not eat.

Thxs Justin :D

So if by getting HITH is it caused by poor water quailty and their type of diet. I am currently feeding hikari sinking pellets. I have usually by zoo med spirlina flakes but i am currently out lol

HITH is caused by a lack of varied diet? Any background on this?

Do you have any further info on this? I'll do some research, but this is the first I have ever seen HITH tied to nutrition.

At my work their was a holding pool full of misc. south american cichlids; satanoperca, cichlasoma, geophagus, hoplarchus, heros, hypeselacra, and mesonauta. The waterquality in the pool was pristine, it is filtered by a large sand filter that is backwashed daily. The ph is maintained at a steady 6.0. Even with all this many of the fish had pretty severe HITH. In order to correct this the fish were fed flake food high in vitamins as well as krill dosed with a vitamin supplement. Within a few weeks of starting this feeding regime the fish showed signs of improvement and by the end of the second month they were all healed with no visible scars.
