Ok this is a pure impulse buy because they are just so gorgeous!
I have some Discus at home but they are the normal cheapo type

Anyway, when it comes to Discus I'm a total noob. Just picked the ones that caught my fancy

I'm not a fan of mixing wilds and domestics, but many do. I do think wilds are more comfortable in tanks with lots of wood. the fish are beautiful although stressed. the bars should fade when they get used to the tank. my wilds bars will go from light to dark in a moment and back again. thats normal, but if they stay dark all the time thats usually a sign of stress.
