Oh for sure there are better foods absolutely, agreed. it's just what i feed as a basic feed, personally.
I have to say that the foods shown are very low on the totem pole. TetraColor is "ok", but isn't that great when fed exclusively.

Not sure... i just kind of go by the seat of my pants. When I need it, I get it.
I know, not too scientific, but it works for me.I spent a lot on NLS and my oscar won't touch the stuff. Grrr. What are other top of the pole brands? I have hikari pellets and TetraCichlid Cichlid Sticks. He loves those sticks. I'll throw some frozen or live food in there every now and then but would be nice to find a "go to" pellet that's not NLS.
I personally love Omega One, but that's my personal preference. There are tons of great food out there on the market today!
Roland, try starving your fish for 2-3 days. During each day you put in 1 or 2 pellets to see if he will eat. If he doesn't, just take them out and keep starving him till he eats. I had the same problem when I upgraded from Hikari.. Took me a while.. Its like making a toddler eat their veggies. Gotta keep at it otherwise they'll never eat it
