i give mine all types of things from bloodworms ,brine shrimp , hikari pelletes all kinds ,and spirulina flakes. and nls pellets as well

I wouldn't recommend this advice many Africans are herbivore, too much meat can cause death especially mbunas.

NLS, New Life Spectra is the best thing for africans imo. great blend of everything and helps to bring out the colors to the fish's full potential. The only stable for mine.

I feed mine Omega one marine flakes with garlic, they love it and it is an all natural food.
