Firemouth Tankmates

It depends on how territorial/aggressive he is i have one thats 5-6" with 2 blood parrots a oscar and 3 silver dollars and they do fine no fighting if he does try to the blood parrot will put him back in line
 
Severums, Keyhole cichlids, Clown Loaches, Rams, Blue Acaras, etc

A Rotkeil, Blue Acara and 2 Rainbow cichlids would be sweet

You've got a lot of options BDuB
 
I would say a Severum aswell. Mine is very docile but defends its territory when required. Also some Buenos Aires tetras might be nice, just got some the other day and they liven the tank up abit.
 
Convicts, blue acara, jack dempsey, severum, port, flagtail, rams (possibly), apistos (possibly), or go with some tiger barbs. :D

A Fei Feng would get to large, and Apistos are very peaceful compared to a Firemouth..
 
Well I never said flag tailed barb aka Fei Fang, I said tiger barb? Second, in a 60 gallon tank apistos would be able to get away from one firemouth. And I also said apistos would only possibly work.:S
