Thanks for all your info guys. I will just get one more uaru. I will get a 125 for them when they out grow the 75. They do eat like pigs my guys eat everything.

One other thing I'll add is that they tend to become very aggressive when they hit their "teenage" years (3"-5"). They are never more moody and cranky than at that size. Now, they wont go out of their way to kill anyone (hopefully), but just something to keep an eye on.
i totally agree with this statement ,mine is a grumpy,mean old man,always sneaking up on its tank mates to nip them by surprise.
Alrighty thanks, most cichlids are like that. My old severums I kept where mean at that size.
I will keep an eye for an aggression.
Human teens get mean at these age too...lol
Well dont confuse Uaru's with most Cichlids. They are very peaceful comparatively speaking. But as I said, they go through a real moody stage at that size.

Thank you. Yes, Severums make very good tankmates. Your guys look to be doing well. Is that a newly set up tank or is it the camera that is making the pics blurry?
Ok I am gonna be clearing out some stock soon to make the uaru grow out. I only want to keep the 2 redhooks flagtail and clown loaches. I am gonna leave the uarus and festivum. I might add a severum not sure, I have my eye on a 125 on cl right now. Maybe even a 240..
Thanks, I love my uaru. Well, I got the tank July 23, so it is kind of new but it has been set up for weeks. Probably cam making pics blurry, cheap cell phone camera.
