Jelly Fish Lake

i'm just curious, since its a lake, are they freshwater or saltwater jellies?
 
I'm not sure, but if they were freshwater.. That would be awesome :D haha

Thats what i was thinking... would be sick to find out there are freshwater jellies out there...
 
There are creatures that look like jelly fish in Lake Tanganyika but they are not related to them at all just developed on their own since the lake is so old and so much like a sea.
 
it says this lake is saltwalter. its not fully disconnected from the ocean. there are layers of limestone with tunnels that let seawater in and out. these animals jsut evolved seperately.


lake Baikal in russia is the oldest lake and has some weird stuff in there. even freshwater seals. i think there is a freshwater jellyfish here in america but its very small.
