Gar reaction to earthquake?

Since Gar are illegal in Cali. sa data may be limited. We just had a 5.9 mag quake in VA. and shook the buildings in MD hard enough to require evacuation. I am afrain I may have twenty tanks merged into a shallow basement pond by the time I get home.

F' I sure hope as "spooked" as gars get that I don't have all "broken backs" even if the tanks themselves survived!

i dont live too far from you, just north of bel air maryland, my gar is fine in his 75gallon and my tank isnt on the floor. hope this makes you feel better

My tanks were all okay too. After my office building shook like a dandelion in the wind I was expecting my tank to have exploded. I sped home.

No such misfortune.

Don't worry, tanks will be fine.
We have little rumbles like that almost every week here in Japan.
Never comes close to moving the tanks.
Even our March 9.0 quake didn't do any damage. Splashed a lot of water (about 20% came out of tank throwing tank covers around) but all fish and Glass / Acrylic were all OK.
