what do you feed your cichla?

I'm jealous. I need to convert my cichla once they get bigger. How big are yours and what kind of cichla?

mine are mono's and kels.4-6 inches. They are pigs

Mine ate Hikari food sticks for the first time tonight since Ive owned them.

Mine only eat aqua treasure mysis shrimp. Most protein one I can find. Just got Hikari food sticks today hopefully I can get them on some pellets or these sticks!

Mine like the Hikari sticks more than the massivore I think they do because thats what i feed my gars so i think they like them more for that reason.

I feed earthworms mostly and i agree feeders as a treat im trying to get them off feeders completely but they seem really picky for some odd reason and wont always take the food sticks luckily I have my gars to finish up the sticks or pellets.

Its takes a while then they will eat . But is there any other fish in ur tank to teach the pbass how to eat pellets or fish stick ??
