The pool filter sand thread!!

I just bought pool filter sand for my 300... Didn't take a close up shot, but you can see it here:

It was $8.99 for 50lb bags, and it only took three bags to fill up the tank. I don't have water in it yet, but the color is great, and I can tell it's very clean and shouldn't be too cloudy when I finally get to fill it.

Turns out my Lowes doesn't have PFS. I'm going to try home depot.

Well I got my hands on some, and put 1-2" in my old 10 gallon. It's still semi-cloudy, but when I swirl my hand around it settles much more quickly than caribsea stuff.
