buy a new camaro!!!

True that +2 on the Camaro

Buy the 98-2002 and get the all aluminum Ls1 series engine with better gas mileage and more horsepower for your buck.
I do like the mustangs though but i rather have a Camaro, Although manual mustangs have some power behind them, my friend owned a bullet mustang and that machine was one powerful beast. As soon as i got into the manual Ls1 Camaro i fell in love with that car as i got pushed into the seats feeling like i belonged in the back seat.

Im not hear to change your idea on your buy Its obviously what you want, And if your head set on the Mustang then Buy them you will never be happier once you have that awesome looking machine on your drive way Zoodiver Awesome looking mustangs Btw.

Ive always liked, not loved the camaros, I think the smaller size of the stang is one of the main things I like. Interesting though I always see the older Camaros but they are almost always beat to hell lol, must be a lot of Sunday drivers hoarding them away.

Ever driven the new brick on wheels....er Camaro?
I hate driving tin nose heavy cars. Epecially for the $$.

The Bullitt is just a fancy looking GT with some suspension and throw back visuals to Steve McQueen's car from the movie.

Thanks. Those aren't even good pics of them.

man Ive browsed around and the more you look , the more you get dizzy in it all lol, especially on craigs list. I hope its not this hard in a few months lol.

Best way to do it is get a feel for what kinds of cars go for what prices and pick some key features you like. Then when you have the money, look at what's for sale and find the one with most of the stuff you like/want.

Then there's the 'sit and wait' method. First time I asked about buying that black '98 was back in oct of 2003. No way it was going to be for sale at that point. I ended up taking delivery of it Oct of last year.

I had one, swore I'd never get another one..... bought two since then. LOL

The biggest thing with a vert is you lose the structure in the top. Vehcile flex is a killer when it comes to ride comfort and handling. Ford addressed this by installing subframe connectors on the verts. As long as the top is kept clean and in good shape (no cracking or mold), there isn't a downside. You do give up the trunk space, if that comes into play.

The up side (for me) was the look with the top down. I put a styling bar in mine... to me it needed something to visually offset the windshield sticking up.
