Say it isnt so???? You had a nice grammy balton i cant believ you sold him. Im growing attached to my grammy so much that i would probly sell my festeas over him

His Dad was over 9". I sold the pair because they were both killers andI couldn't give them their own tank.

Dang...I don't know how you could do it...somebody got lucky!

I heard that flagtails can be tough on each other and people usually keep them as a single fish or a group of 6 or more. Not sure if it's true - I kept two big ones in separate tanks, and not I'm growing out 8 babies (1.5").

the pikes you have are going to make the grammy aggression look mild when they get close to full grown.....

I was worried about that too. We'll see how they turn out, they're both female so hopefully they'll be somewhat docile.

Someone got really lucky indeed, that Ornatum is a spectacular fish. As far as the flagtails I admit I don't know much about them. I do know they're most likely not a permanant fixture in my tank but are cool to have for now. So far they're staying at each other's side like a two-fish shoal lol. And they're really cute hahaha.

Large Grammodes are hard to come by. Best looking CA I've ever seen was a 13" plus Grammodes at the old Steinhart back in the day. It was thrown in the 20k snakehead tank as food as a baby and survived. Absolutely stunning fish. I have a 7" female that I can't bring myself to part with!

Balton, what did you feed your Ornatum? They are an incredibly slow growing fish!
