You need to add a 75 gallon tank, or bigger, for your Oscar.

NO, a 55 gallon tank is not suitable for an Oscar for life. I don't care what you filter it with. We go through this a couple of times a month I'm not even saying anything about a common pleco in a 30 and what that crap factory is doing to your water quality. Now sombody's telling you to keep a female Umbee in a 50 gallon tank. Seriously what's going on around here it seems as if we're moving backwards. I give up, do what ever you want a pair of Pacu's is fine at this point dosen't really matter.

A male umbee would , probably 200. They get to 24 + inches.

Females max at 12 so a 55 can be used if the female is alone.

Yes , I'm the someone who said the female umbee can go alone in a 55 , and I'm not going backwards. If I said male then I would be on crack.
