hi guys. so i'm new to planted tanks but tried to learn as much as i could from the internet and forums. i don't have any friends who are as into fish keeping, let alone planted aquariums, so i never got any first hand advice from anyone.
my vallisnerias that i've planted in july left some dead. i removed the dead ones as well as some that only rotted at the upper parts of its leaves. but what i did with the latter, i clipped the dead parts off and replanted em and they're doing great! they're so green and healthy and are spreading around already.
but recently i noticed some of them are starting to die again. i need some quick tips on how i might be able to improve my plants' growth. i use aqua soil as well as fine sand for substrate and have no CO2. i use flourish every other day, as instructed on the bottle. is there anything else that i may be able to do? excuse the brownish water in the tank. my driftwoods' still leeching tannin.
THANKS!
