Some shots from the SA tank

I agree with all other post, awesome saum and stock Tom! I love it actually.

Tom, they look awesome. I may have missed this elsewhere, but can you tell us your water params? My Krobia are flirting again in my 150 but they always drop their tubes and then refuse to go further. I'm looking for a trigger.

Does your GT bother the Krobia or the Mesonauta at all? Also, where are the nassa? I've decided to go with Aequidens metae, Acaronia nassa, and Krobia in my new 150 that I'm setting up.

I would like to thank everyone for the nice comments. This is the new 220 I set up so it's still a work in progress. I have two Pothos growing out from ether corner I should have posted a full tank shot. I have a group of six Geo. Tapajos O.H. that will be going in, they are now growing out in a 90 and should be ready for their offical unveiling in a couple of weeks. I have them eating NLS 1mm now so they are getting some size and getting close. Once they go in I might move some things around a little.

My Ph is right around 6.5 at the moment and slightly soft the big piece of driftwood (25lbs X 28" tall) is still leaching tannins so it's keeping the Ph lower than it normally is in my tanks which usually run around 6.8-6.9 I've been doing 50% water changes twice a week to keep it from going too low. The trigger for the Krobia was a very large warm water change as opposed to the normal cool water change that we usually associate with triggering a spawn. The tank was kept at 81 and I brought the temp up to 87 with the WC and that turned the trick, this was in the 90 I was keeping them in at the time. I did this at the same time they had their tubes down. The six surviving fry are in a 20 but once the Geos go into the main tank I'll put the fry in the 90 to grow out. A 90 gal tank for 6 half inch fry should allow them to put some size on quickly.

Neither of the GTs bother any of the other fish in the tank other than a half hearted chase around feeding time. The big GT swims through everything oblivious to anything going on around him only giving chase to the smaller GT on occasion. The smaller GT with the NH is actually #3 in the tank the male Krobia will back him down if he get too close to their cave. The four A. Metae and the five Mesonauta for the most part just interact with each other. Overall the tank is very peaceful. I noticed you got some Metae too, I've wanted them for a long time and I'm very happy I got them they are amazinly beautiful fish I'm looking foward to breeding.

The Nassa are doing well and growing in a 75 with the ousted male Krobia that I had to seperate from the pair. No signs of breeding from them yet some jousting and flairing but nothing serious.

Beautiful tank and awesome saum. I just had to get rid of my female last week. Really bummed me out but it was for the best.

Awesome fish you have there. Best of luck with the new setup. FTS please!
