As said befor, take up kite flying. 8ft kitefolds up, very very small. Take a look at what your doing, then go and jam yourself in a 4ft box. See how you enjoy it. Sorry to be rude, but come on you better be studing common sence at uni, because your in desperate need of some.

Samuel.. hey.. i'd agree with most of them here about the tank size for the aro.. i'd ask you or him to let go off the fish.. if your friend thinks.. its vaastu or its gonna bring him luck.. monetary gain.. that is the biggest load of trash LFS dish out.. vaastu says waterbody and fish.. not aro or flowerhorn.. i'm into construction bro.. so i know this.. i have four aros and my luck is well nothing great.. so anyway.. if thats the line(or not).. please return the fish and save it.. its def a beautiful aro..
 
@the guy who told me to stay in a box i stay in a four seater dorm room and so i already know about being cramped up....if u were a fish keeper all ur life and were suddenly forced to study in a hostel such as mine where there are so many restrictions u too would do such stuff to keep ur hobby going...if we could keep a 5 or 6 foot tank in the room we would...

and to the others who were also being rude its not my fish as i mentioned earlier its my roomies...i didnt buy it nor did i buy the tank...learn to read first b4 lecturing others...all i did was share the fish with u coz i thought it was quite a beautiful arowana...
and yeah let me add that i presently dont have a tank coz i realize the space limitations...

its good to write all that you have written..if you have been a fish keeper than you would know that fish wouldnt fit in that tank for more than 2 months..also there are many fishes that could go in a 2.5 feet tank..and no even gold fish wont survive in that..and if its something to do with religion then its only gonna bring bad luck dude..coz that fish is gonna be unhappy and eventually die..wats the point of taking more curses...and kite flying rocks..i dont think there are many indians who havent flown kites..talk to your roomie..and yea i know the fish is not yours..and you are not the only one to live in a small hostel room in india..most colleges have small rooms..
