ok ima tell you the whole shabang! my 4inch peacock bass is affraid of my 4in Indo Datnoid. there are both living in a 95 gallon. i always catch my peacock bass hiding in the top of the tank but i see no beat up fins. i know he is affraid and stressed because, he's black strip is not so black no more its like faded, its gray. The bass attacks? the glass? while going up and down? really fast. i dont know what that means can someone explain that. (water parameters is great i checked it and i do water changes every week so dont worry they are not sick) i catch my datnoid chase the bass around SOMETIMES. but as if right now my bass is somewhat doing better than the last time. he swims more on the bottom unlike when i introduced him the first time. Whn the bass is crusing swiming on the bottom i notice when the datnoid comes out of his cave the peacock bass gets scared and goes straight to the top even though the datnoid doesnt chase him. they are being feed well they eat just great. its just im worried if my bass can live. i dont think we can get other fish to spread the aggresion right now we just dont have the money. i tryed to be as detailed as possible ask me more questions and please reply because i want these fish to be living together. you know what else i dont get? how do other people get away from this? i forgot to mention i tryed spliting them and this happpend.:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Datnoid is bossy... but once the bass get bigger they'll be ok. bass grow way faster than datnoid. So for now you just have to let them be.

How long have they been together for?
oh yeah forgot that about 5 days. this is the second time i introduced them last time was worse lol but i seen some improvement.

yeah hey all datnoids are like that. yeah yeah i know so you think they will do fine til the bass grows? and thanks for the reply

Dithers and Target fish. Giant Danio's, silver dollars, convict's, or even more bass. These fish will help spread aggression through out the tank, instead of the fighting between the two (Indo tiger and your Tem).

This will be a problem as long is there is only 2 fish in the tank. If your worried throw the divider back up. I like my bass a whole lot more than I liked my dats....so all the dats went.

i didnt have a divider i have a bow front kinda hard to make one.

For a divider, you can use egg create (light diffusers) from City Mill and cut to fit your tank. Convict are cheap or you can scoop some up in Pacific Palisade ( there is a river there that I use to scoop net convicts and RD/Midas to.
