For a divider, you can use egg create (light diffusers) from City Mill and cut to fit your tank. Convict are cheap or you can scoop some up in Pacific Palisade ( there is a river there that I use to scoop net convicts and RD/Midas to.

oh yups i caught like 13 the other time and i released some back and kept like 5 for my cousin and i took one and right know im quarantining it because i dont trust his tank lol

Cons will work also if you can I would seperate the Cichla into another tank. I would even hold the Dat in a 40g breeder until the Cichla get's some size on it. Short term I would get a divider in there and leave it up until you can get some more funds.

convicts will work, oh ok. i only have a 20 long i can put the cichla there and grow um out?

wait i forgot to mention my datnoid and p bass are living with a mbu puffer fish with that being said is it ok to put convicts into my tank? isnt convicts to aggresive?

i added a frontosa and a convict but the bass still scared? he swims against the glass up and down. but sometimes he chills on the bottom but he's scared.
