770 Gallon Monster Setup

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
With a tank that large you can do a great monster cichlid setup, a few red devils, green and red terrors, JD, oscar's, Jags black belts, Buttikofri , maybe a dovii and umbee and then add about 8 blk bar silver door to mix up the confusion with there constant back and forward swimming and there you have it, a full color spectrum of fish, they will eats pellets and are pretty hardy when it comes to tempatures and won't out grow the tank but grow just large enough to look great in the tank. Besides the cooler the water get's the less aggression you will have if any with a tank that size. There is plenty of space for every fish to have his own space.

+1 on that stock list, I love it. That's exactly what I would do!!..... well more or less

yeah, you have a good point about tanks fitting through the doors. I remember my wife and I debating having french door to our house. I have to admitt I fought the idea tooth and nail about spending the extra money for them, but I am happy she stood her ground, though i would never let her know that.;)

French doors make moving anything so much easier. I have them going into my living and dinning rooms and anytime something large gets delivered they go right through those doors. The delivery guys love when they can move in three pieces of furniture, and take out the old ones in a matter of seconds.

Impressive goldfish tank, they will be lovely. Even as a goldfish keeper myself , I know I wouldn't devote such a tank to goldfish. No plans to flame you however, each to their own.

Alex's tank is the sh@&........No matter what livestock he has in it...

I agree, the tank is impressive, crossing fingers he figures out the heating situation. It's kinda like having a Porsche in the garage and the door opener is broken..........

Nice giant tank. I guess the fish will be very happy under your TLC.

Thanks. They seem pretty happy so far.

No offense taken at all. I understand completely. Goldfish was not what I had in mind when I bought the setup. The tank will eventually see tropical fish at some point...I promise you that.

Thanks Dorn. How's the 750 coming along? I'm not going to name names, but quite a few days ago someone mentioned it would be plumbed, filled and photos would be posted....but I don't see any...I'll have to bump that thread for an update! haha

It's not that bad...the garage door opener works...I take the Porsche out for a spin on the weekends, but I never push it past 55MPH.

The pics, plumbing, and tank is up and running with some silver dollars in it to test the water lol...I posted some pics of my 360 and 750 on my 750 thread...
