I was thinking about building a large freshwater stingray tank but have a stand that allowes me to keep my bed under it. Then have a hole on the bottom so that I can see into the tank when I am in the bed. How would I do this???

do you mean like a port-hole you can stick your head in and look around inside the tank or just looking up through the bottom of the tank?

Wozi that's what I call a scary dream, I think unless your sea world and can afford it, this might be a bad idea.

^^^ thats actually a resort in the maldives if im not mistaken.. theres a restaurant underwater too. But I've heard its fake/photoshopped too. lol

OH. and OP- the idea would work. You would just have to find a way to brace the tank centrally to prevent bowing. The pressure in a tank is most exerted onto the corners...but its still a good idea to brace the middle. The tank would have to be larger in length and width than the bed itself, so you could brace it centrally. it would take a highly skilled carpenter-type to accomplish this. hopefully youre very hands on! But most aquarium stands have holes where the tank sits.. pressure distribution would not prevent an underside peep hole!
