i need some more crocodile geckos

I hate to say this but I think most collectors are staying away from Petstores and going with Private Breeders and Many people are buying at shows

So true. I went to a reptile show today (Steel City Reptile Expo) and saw herps for crazy prices e.g. half that of the pet store or even less. Heck, someone had a Jeff Ronne line pastel boa for $150! That's at least a $500 snake!

There's no denying that, luckily, our stores don't cater to the collectors or we'd have no income whatsoever in regards to our animal department (with the exception of SW fish, we're sadly putting most of the local competition in our county out of business because we use the same vendors and price cheaper).

I thought the prices had dropped in his line for pastels? Either way, good price... I love shows for that reason. You find great stuff periodically for fantastic prices. You pick up anything at the show?

They have dropped a bit, but some of the nicer ones from that line are still pretty pricey e.g. over $500; some of the less colorful ones are around $150 now, though. I got a 2011 male granite burmese python that's also 100% het. for albino. He's going to be a big boy in a few months time, but I've been doing hands-on prep work with large adults of this species for a few months now since I last brought up about wanting to get a burm.

Oh, two other cool herps that I saw at the show that might sell well for your store are gargoyle geckos and New Caledonian giant geckos. The giants might be a tougher sell than the gargoyles, but I imagine that there are people who want giants; there were a decent number people at the show that inquired about them to a few vendors, so there must be at least some demand for them.
