This is why you shouldn't be allowed out of the Lounge.......;)

I think PFS it's cheep, easy, and looks good. I was woundering how long you would be able to take the black sand it drove me nuts. The up side is you don't have to remove all the black, leave about 25% and just add the balance of PFS mix it together and you're good to go. The mix is a nice look and easy to work with.

You know, I was thinking about it, and I think ill be a nonconformist and do neon green, blue, pink, and orange gravel. Ill also add on a outer space background, and fill the tank with glow in the dark fake plants. Ill also add a bunch of those funny little no fishing signs from Walmart, as well as a complete sponge bob decoration collection. Ill top it off by adding an air hose diver and other air hose ornaments, led bubbler's, and ill make the lighting constantly change colors like lights on a dance floor.

Go for and post pics. I've always been a sucker for anything Sponge Bob!

ALright, its all done. I'll take pictures once the cloudiness goes away. Already got some nice pics of my ornate polys though. Its rare to ever see them out and about. Of course, its taken me till 4:30 in the morning to finish, and boy is my bird angry at being kept up so late.

I like a mix of black sand and PFS. I like the look of it with a few scattered pebbles and stones. I just set up my 6-year old son's first aquarium (proud dad is smiling). It is a 10 gallon with a Marbled Cray and a few Tetras. He knows that the Marbled Cray is intended to make feeders for dad's tanks and he's cool with it. As long as he can keep at least one Cray for himself at all times he is fine. The other condition was that his first tank have a complete Sponge Bob theme (dad grits and bears it). I'm just happy my son has taken a plunge into the hobby. I'm proud to announce that the Marbled Cray has taken residence in the Krusty Krab.

I like sandblasting sand. Two shades of Brown with flecks of Black, siphon friendly and looks very natural. Cheap too. Usually about 6 bucks for a 50 lb bag at Lowe's.
