Recently I parted with all of my gars and now I am considering getting back into them soon I am considering gator gars i have access to a spot where I could build a pond for them once thye out grow there tanks.

Well congrats on the decision to get back into gars. Personally I would go with a mixed group of the other gar species. A lot easier to mix with other fish and will give you more variety if you go with multiple species.
A gator gar pond is fun, but I found my group always had shredded fins until there were more than 6 in the pond.

I did nt realized how much I missed them until they was gone I guess sometimes its like that.

Gators are hard to keep with others. And they grow way too fast compared to other gars. It's either gators alone or mix without gators. Still waiting for my gators to max out. Will be quite a sight when they do. Planning to keep 9 gators with some cats in my pond now.
