My Orino's Growout thread

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Any holes for them to escape? Are they on the floor? DId you check in any decor? Do any of them look super fat like they ate one of their buddies? Try not to disturb them moving all the stuff in the tank. I would just keep at the wc's and feeding.

I checked everything inside and around the tank..orinos dont look fat..but then the two that are missing are the runts..i have no clue wat to them..

your lil ones are looking good !

Man bro that bites that 2 of them are missing :( , I was able to pick up 4 of these from john on the 23rd they are alot of fun to watch
I'm going to try and make a thread and post a video of them the day after they arrived and going to do another video on the 23-24th of next month just to show thier
progression .

thx bro..i think the bigger orino of the batch has been eating them..i cant wait to see your orinos growout..i was lucky and mine were taking pellets and freeze dried shrimp right away..

Mine just ate pellets for the first time today , I mean they would hit the pellets before but would spit them right back out ,
But I was happy when they actually ate them today ( ken's fish grow formula 2 mm slow sinking pellets , 50% protein)

I am still feeding california black worms also , they really go nuts over those lol
actually waiting on 7 lbs of them now ( got a heckof a deal on them ) , was less then 5 miles miles away from here at 7:30 but still hasn't shown up lol .

so far theres very little growth that i can tell anyways..my cousin said they are much bigger now then when i ordered them..when it comes time to feeding they get highly aggressive..as far as color change nothing yet..one is much more bigger (girth wise) and is a pig lol..i'll update in a few weeks with more pics and a video..

Nice looking grow out tank. Can't beat a tank full of bass, that's for sure. What kind of Geo's/Earth Eaters are those?

Thanks Mike, Always wanted to that out...Geo's/Earth eaters and Pbass.
