Thank you. They were pretty rare in the US a few years ago too. Just recently, importers are starting to import these beauties.

Check with Dan Ye-Jennings at americancichlids.net. Looks like someone has bred them, as she has tank raised juvies for sale for less than $15 a piece.

pellegrini less than $15 who would've thought, they were also at the aca one being my male and a bunch of juv's for cheap, i bought my original group about 10 years ago when jeff brought them in for $50 for a 1 1/4" fish....
