Actually very similiar to "ON STAR" I just bought a new truck.. and it is scary how much ON STAR knows about you... if you go off the side of a cliff they are the only ones who know your exact location.. thats good but what if it is some place you don't want them to know..???
buy a vehicle without onstar then? is there honestly ever a time that you drive off a cliff in a newer rig and don't want people to know? my guess is it's either an accident, suicide or a stolen vehicle. All reasons that you'd want someone to know
We get 'tracked' way too much for my comfort... cars, phones etc....
I used to be a big tech nut back when I was younger. Not anymore. Low tech and under the radar for me (as much as possible).

i was just using that as an example of the most out of ordinary circumstances... i just think it is very weird they know where you are at all times.. even how much air you have in your tires.. there are definitly pluses to it.. but still feels uncomfortable being tracked.
That is creepy that they know how much air is in your tires. I've never had onstar and I don't think I'll be getting it. Unless they'll fill my tires up with air when they're low or do my oil changes for me.
not funny at all. this year I got birthday coupons from a pizza place that I've never given any info to. probably all from caller ID, since I've never used anything but cash.
too bad too, I liked their pizza but will never give them my business again.
