You are correct on this but the think the OP himself has expanded on the subject at hand.

To be honest I don't think anyone supports it 100% as most of their(OWS) demands are pretty far gone.

while you are probably right that no-one supports OWS 100%, the movement's demands are crystalizing. Are you saying that demanding an end to corporate welfare and that those bankers and others who got us into this mess be held accountable is far gone? demanding simply the opportunity for a job is far gone? that must be why OWS is becoming a worldwide phenomenon. 85 countries and over 900 cities and growing.
There is a quickpoll at CNN

People favor
The results are now :
Occupy Wall Street 70% 236,000
Tea Party 30% 102,000

I'm saying that demanding a $20 an hour job regardless if you work or not is FAR GONE

I'm saying doing away with credit report is FAR GONE

I'm saying free collage is FAR GONE

I'm saying open borders is FAR GONE (Part of our problem right now is the borders are too loose. Tighten it and get rid of the illegals and that leaves more jobs for us)

I'm saying debt forgiveness across the board is FAR GONE... while this sounds nice. Companies(small or big) depend on that debt to stay afloat.

I do agree that those who got bailout money(banks) should be held accountable as 'we' saved their necks only to be continued to get screwed over by them. As an unemployed person I agree to demanding everyone should be able to get a decent(not $20hr) job.

While I do approve that they exist... I wish they would be more reasonable in their demands and they should become more organized.

i think that's pretty fair. on the flip side, i think it's equally fair for the 1% to ask that welfare for the poor be ended and the people who got us in to that mess be held accountable too.

it's not fair to demand that someone create a job for you, no this is not fair at all.

that must be why OWS is becoming a worldwide phenomenon.

i think it's so big because there are lots of angry people out there and it covers so many (just about any) ideas out there, every angry person feels welcome to say their bit.

i think if you took any one specific idea out of the crowd and asked how many people support that one idea, you would have a vastly smaller crowd.

take a look at this poor fellow for instance...

i'm not trying to put down the movement, i just wanted to point out how diverse they are. for every one of these idiots, there's probably someone very intelligent with something valid to say.

Since we moved off politics and on the movement, Im back in. this is a great post. While ows is good in theory much of the demands truly make them out to be nut jobs.

Im a gun packing nut case? Bwahahaha!!!! This post is almost as epic as ur previous one. That one needs a facepalm pic...

Next time plz come armed!!

Ps,
Got a problem with my guns? You can pry them from my cold dead fingers.

it began in New York (wall street), spread to other states now its worldwide. what they demand is too high in demand for anyone to meet, but still remember what you hear in the News and on the streets is not always true. they are also fighting for lower taxes, and higher taxes for the rich. Obama actually agreed to raise the taxes for the rich but due to the US Government being run by the rich they shot that down also. but what ever you hear is NOT always true. even if its from me:p

I hate to say it but I think things will have to reach absolute rock bottom before they start to improve.. Sadly I don't think that these protests are the solution to anything. Sure it's drawing attention to the problems of the "bottom 99%" but the movement is doing nothing and offering up nothing that could fix the problems.

The ludicrous demands aren't helping either.. Do these people really think that the rich are going to happily give away their millions so you can go to school for free? Or drive a free car? The protests need to get organized and get real before they will accomplish anything.
