Easy way to cover up my background?

I have a tank sitting in my room painted with glossy black spray paint. The gloss acts sort of like a mirror and it's not acrylic paint so I don't think I can peel it off. Is there any way to fix this other than buying a 3d background or do I just have to live with it? :P
 
I seen people use blades or even paint stripper brush on ...make sure u don't. Put any on the inside may be harmful to fish

Make a really cheap, easy, and quick background.
Get a some plexiglass, spread some silicone on it, sprinkle sand the color of your substrate on it. Let it dry for 72 hours, rinse it off and you now have an earth tone background.

acrylic: sand the paint off with a wet-dry sand paper then if you want to leave it clear buff and polish it, if not repaint it with a non-glossy paint.
if you choose to repaint it i'd recommend krylon brand... or if you wanna buy those ugly background wallpaper and tape it on it just do same as
the first choice, buff and polish it...

glass: use a razor blade to scrape it off or paint thinner and wipe it off... ( thinner can be harsh...) theres also chemicals you can use to remove
the paint... safest bet is with a razor fastest and less pita way is paint thinner...

Be very careful with solvents because they can attack the plastic aquarium frame and damage the finish or integrity of the frame.

I'd suggest a few new razor blades, a safety scraper and a can of elbow grease.
