Has anyone here ever purchased or used a Jehmco Diaphram air pump? Are they quiet, dependable pumps?
Ok great, I think I will go with it instead of the Altia 6a, plus its cheaper.. I can get pump w weight airstones and weighted tubing for the price of Altia 6a pump.I do not own one, but I hear good things. Some of my local club members have said that they are quiet.
i have one.
its great and quite.
i would spend the money there worth it.
Cool this makes me feel good about the purchase, I will be ordeirng tomorrow..
Yes I have the Alita but have heard good things about the Jehmco (the Jehmcos were not on sale when I bought mine so the price was not that different and I think the Alita's are a bit more efficient). I do like the metal Alita gang valve better than the plastic one (you will need a gang valve to bleed off excess air). When you get it take some pics they look strikingly similar. The Alita is made in Taiwan, curious if the Jehmco is made there too.
. Actually it won't be funny!
