I got a Blue Angel and a Platinum Pearscale that are in same tank, but i can figure out if they are male or female?? My buddy at the fish store said that the males have a bump, but i think mine are too small. All of my angels look like your female, but like i said they are small. When did that "hump" become visible?? Like how big was the angel before you could FOR SURE tell he was a male??

Yea, you can tell the male fish by it's hump, but not really 100% work all the time. You see my avatar with 2 golden albino. They are all males. One with large hump and the other one is not. Here are some more example on my album http://s1100.photobucket.com/albums/g406/Ken242Wonder/ 3 pairs with eggs. 2 pairs ,the male has low hump, so that you can only tell them from the female is by its size and fins. The other pair , the male has very large hump. The hump will be more visible when males be come territorial to each other or when fish pair up. The only time you will know 100% for sure male and female fish is when they lay eggs (large size fish. Fold a $1 bill to 3 parts equally, so 1/3 of the bill is to measure the body size for a mature fish. Some fish little smaller, other will be bigger than that.) Male has pointed genital papillae ( white/clear tube). Female has rounded white/clear tube.
