Wow, you do know a lot about him...and how are you so sure that none of that info about him is fake?
If you were a victim, go to this website and file a claim; it's run by the FBI and NW3C. I got scammed by someone and filed a claim; I got a response from them and some advice. Unfortunately for me, the local police knew the guy and did nothing, so I wound up getting no where. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did.
I bet he used Facebook; it works wonders for things like this since some people still don't lock down their info.

Did you file a claim with paypal? That's really what paypal is designed for... To protect the buyer.

You will have to double check the terms though... coz i remember at one stage, Paypal didn't protect buyers / sellers when the transactions were made outside of E-bay... although that may have changed since that happened to a friend of mine about 3 years ago now...
If you pay with Paypal and file with Paypal non-recieved item paypal will withhold funds from seller till he can prove delivery. After certain amount of time seller cannot prove delivery buyer will receive money back. If he already pulled the money out he still has to have a CC or bank account attached to his paypal to have a paypal account paypal will pull the fund back from him.
