I am sorry I didn't read your other post, but was wondering what size tank is it and what kind of fish is in it , what kind of filter canister or hob , do you have enough ceramic rings, bioballs, ext... also how often do you feed and what do you feed ... I am sorry I know its alot of questions just trying to think of things that might throw things out of whack ....

Its a 75. I have 6 GTs, 2 Cuban, and a raphael cat. All fish are juvis under 2 inch( one of the cubans is a little bigger) I run a flival 405 with 2 sections of ceramic rings and the rest is foam. I feed twice a day and use NLS 1mm. I have been picking the minds of many LFS folks trying to find out whats up with my tank and they are baffled. I really tried to do all this correctly but I learned a lesson to NEVER cycle with fish again.

you could try going down to once a day. I feed mine once a day. I use the same filter with a similar setup in it and it works great. Just be patient try not to do too much to the tank, just let it do it's thing. That's going to be a LOT of fish for that tank. So you might want to take a few out to reduce the bio-load. I know they aren't making a huge load now, but give them a little time and it will be huge.

I have another tank for the cubans cycling (fishless, I learned) They will be moved as soon as its done. Once the terrors pair off the other 4 will be sold back to my lfs.

ahh it all makes sense now. I cycled mine with fish and had some nervous moments but in the end I didn't lose any so there's a success story to boost you up a bit.

I lost two during my period of high ammonia but now everyone seems to be doing great. I would think with nitrite levels this high I would see signs of stress, maybe gasping or labored breathing? Everyone is eating and growing. Im using prime and stability. Anyway the reading could be false? Even water changes doesnt lower it.
