Seriously, I would. Theses things are so fricken cool. I got to go behind the scenes of the Lubee Bat Conservancy (which used to be owned by Baccardi- save the bats and drink up guys!) because the reptile store I work at supports them during the one day a year they are open to the public. My boss and I worked a table at the Bat Festival and in return they let us hang out with these guys and we got to go inside the cages and see the medical center and everything. I can say without a doubt this is a first class operation and have some of the rarest bats in the world.
On a side note, I am heading up to Jax today with my other job as a nussiance wildlife removal company and we are removing the roof off of a house with 1000+ Brazilian free tailed bats. There are so many that they have lifted a portion of the roof from over crowding and are getting pinched between the roof and the walls. We are estimating nearly a hundred pounds of bat guano that need to be removed as well. But the pay is good!
