I just received 14 Geophagus Tapajos yesterday, They are all about 1-1 1/2" long and are in a 55g right now. I wanted to add some tank mates once they get to about 3-4". What do you guys think would work? I was thinking maybe a small catfish of some sort, Any suggestions would help, Thanks.

I keep mine with satanoperca deamons and a big rotkiel severum maybe corydoras would work? Anything peaceful and/or won't eat eggs or fry when they do spawn for you

I had Deamons and Corys in mind. I want to upgrade to at least a 125g, If I can't I will sell off a few of them or give some to a friend of mine.
That stock sounds great, It's the same with mine, Even at such a small size they show are extremely active.
Usually with these guys, you want to fill up the top of the tank. Somethings like wild angels or festivums would make good tank mates
