I have had yellow, green, sometimes a dark blue/green monos in the past. Look how yellow the occel is in my avatar. Ocells have red eyes.
Are these true Ocellaris or Monos?

like others have pointed out, don't all ocells have red eyes even as juveniles? can anyone confirm this?
the guy is selling them for about $10 a piece and shipping won't be much either. Only problem is I got a long list of christmas presents to fulfill... perhaps I can find a bit of pocket change to purchase a few

Not all Ocells have red eyes as juvies. Farm bred probably don't for the most part. At least in my experience they haven't. I have had Guyanna Ocells without red eyes and I have had Monos that have had a red tint. Don't read too much into the color of eyes. It doesnt always classify it as a mono or Ocell. At 5-7 inches you will know what they are.

Price is right for first PBass regardless as to what they end up, unless you really had your heart set on Ocellaris.
