Fish are looking much better as they are getting their color. I have heard the silvers get drop eye from feeding live, as they look down a lot for their food, and it strains the muscles. But it could easily be a breeding thing as well, as all the very large silvers I have seen have it.

i have herd many things but i have never feed them live fish.. i have had a jardini have drop eye once and i put a floater in the tank and it fixed it.. i really dunno why but all silvers have them!

not as of now as the xback is way too agressive.. the platt grew up with others so i know he would be ok.. i might just get a few reds later together as a comm not these guys
