i see you got alot of medium sized fish kept in smaller tanks. hows the aggression becaus ein my 75 gallon i have a grammodes pair but can get a 5 inch dovii for $20

yeah the fish i have in the smaller tanks works out perfect with no aggresion and eventually they will be thrown in the 180 but not anytime soon , i would personally stay away from dovvi , im to scared to throw one in my 180 but i might soon just to try it temporariy, in a 75 i would just makes sure all the fish are within 2-3" of biggness from eachother, try and keep them similiar sized, add some hiding places, and overstock it with like 10 fish in it just to keep aggression down , and do water changes,

yea i have beanis growing out right now. I'm gonna stay away from the dovii and maybe get a umbee

i would only buy an umbee if you have a 180 , all my fish from the bowfront are just growing out to go in the 180

i would start with a group to get a female as i know the females stay much smaller around 13 inches from what ive researched. I have a 150 and have about $600 saved for a 200+ gallon tank

yeah and just have an extra tank ready because in my bowfront i have aggression issues and i just switch fish from one tank to another frequently because if not my fish would kill each other

Decided against the umbee. Will probly order a la cieba freddy do ease the aggression in my grammodes tank... Not sure the breeding is gonna work out. will have my umbee tank one day

lol how often do you switch out fish between tanks to avoid aggression ?

well i just put in 2 red tigers i bought on saturday that are 5" , and they are trying to breed and are picking on my fish real bad so ima switch them out tommorow to my 30 g to spawn them and other than that its fine but sometimes they do fight but nothing serious , i usually switch fish from my 180 , everyfish in the bowfront has gotten really beaten up by my red devil from the 180 but i just love my red devil to much to get rid of his nasty mean as$
