looks like it could possibly be a platinum jar. not the best pic, but it's eye looks a bit messed up maybe?...
 
it's been on this site a lot of time before, it is a scam!
 
I dont think its a scam. The guy owns a small shop near my house. He just uses the same old pic over & over again. He got some exotic fishes but all his fishes r over priced.
 
But it's illegal to own a golden aro in the us right?

that is an Australian aro, only Asian aro are illegal!
and the aro in that link is most likely a WTT jardini, and $180 price say this is a scam! a plat jar is very rare and would go for thousands!

Believe it or not most jardinis here in ny are around that price now. Ripoff of course. It used to be $50-80 bucks.

so it is just a normal jardini, not a plat jardini!
 
Platinium jardini must have platinium crown on the head,this will determine whether it is a real plat,i have have 2 myself and it doesnt come cheap.it cost ard USD 4000 for a good one......so that fish on ebay is a wtt jardini as there is no shine on the head....and from the price we can tell as nobody would be stupid to sell a real platinium aro which is so rare at this price.....:)
