Glass or acrylic?

All my tanks are built by myself and are made from 10mm-12mm glass, the tank in question is 12mm with plenty of bracings for added strength, doubled base also.
Acrylic has its advantages such as been a little clearer to look through plus a lot lighter but the fact it scratches easily and is generally much more expensive is for me a good reason to stick with glass.
