Yes it is. I liked it very much. I did not like Sao Paulo...

But you can get anything in Brazil, when you have money. If not ... you better die ;).

I saw bichirs over there. Mostly senegals and ornates. The prices were very high. I wondered what your government tries to achieve with that. How much do your native species cost (like sting rays?).

Sao Paulo was ok, i just don´t like big cities. You may have noticed i´m not the most social guy and i guess i could get into trouble there.

Brazil has amazing nature and i learned alot there. Its sad that the brazilian bichir species went extinct.

I can make a research...never stop to look the sting rays price...

Pirarucu (Arapaima Gigas) 20 cm - US$ 70
Pirarara (RTC) 10 cm - US$ 25
Pintado/Cacharra (TSN) 10 cm - US$ 10
Piranha Vermelha (Red Belly Pirana) 10 cm - US$ 21
Dourado (Dorado) 15 cm - US$ 15

You know Cachorra (outside Brazil is named by Payara) ? They don't sell here in Brazil !

Our native fishes must be breed in captivity, they are never cautgh in nature...

Never mind that in Brazil we already have had bichirs ! :o

CURIOSITY: How much are this Bichir in your Country/City ??

Brasil - São Paulo: Delhezi (6-7cm) - US$ 75 / Endli (6-7cm) - US$ 75 / Ornate (6-7 cm) - US$ 100

6-7cm means 2-3 inches max.

at that size, in my country, prices are $15 (US$10?), $5 (US$3?) and $10 (US$7?) respectively.

of course, they are captive bred ones.

Tks for the information !! The problem is, that in my main tank, I have a Wolf, KC, Gar and a Snakehead...soo, THAT would be a problem ! haha Tks again

I fear for your delhezi with those inside.

your RTC is expensive there :D here its less than $5.

for everything else on that list, its relatively cheaper compared to where im from.

I got two of my delhezis at wholesale price. $13 here for a 6" individual. It's roughly the same for retropinnis, ansorgii, weeksii, and endlicheri. I just know that the LFS I work at sells them for $60. However, here in Florida we can't buy some of the cool fish you listed, like dorado, piranha, or FW stingrays.

But when it comes to farmed fish, Florida is the place to be. There are SO many fish farms down here and most of them raise aquarium fishes.
