I am also having the same problem with my 75 gallon. I live in CT and have been to every pet/fish store in the area and cannot find glass tops for my tank. I think I'm just going to have a hardware store cut some acrylic for me and make a top out of that. I was hoping this thread would give me a place to buy the real thing lol. Good luck!
Buy the glass top made by perfecto. Take it to a glass shop and have them cut it to size. Problem solved. You won't find a standard glass top to fit a 75 gallon Top Fin aquarium.

So they literally are making aquariums that there are no covers for ?

Sure. There are so many aquariums out there, they don't all have generic stock lids. I used to have a 95g 5ft long tank that I bought on craigslist, and the thing had euro bracing in the center, and one opening on each side. The openings were a. not the same dimensions (weird right), and b. neither was a generic dimension for generic lids.

As far as getting lids for your tank goes though, simply get 4 sheets cut to the dimensions you need at any local glass store (shouldn't be too expensive at all, they certainly don't have to be thick) and buy this for hinging and handle. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=13819

Done deal.

Hi guys,
I am looking for covers for my third 75 gal. They need to be 22 inches long (2 of them) I honestly do not want the hassle of finding glass, a glass shop, etc - I just want to buy, and put on.
Anyone have any laying around, or find any at your local store?
Thanks

Come on guys - how hard is it to find a set of 75 gallon glass tops ? Help a MFK out.
It is going to be very hard to find one. You have an odd size frame on your tank. You will not find a 22" glass top. Standard glass tops come in 22 1/8" or 22 3/4". Buy the 22 3/4" one and have a glass shop cut it down to 22". It is your only solution. The tank you bought came with a custom plastic hood, not a glass top.

I think by now you have put more effort in posting and loosing sleep over this than needed. Just call a glass shop, give them the dimensions you want, buy some silicone and make a hinge from that. After your done you will have the satisfaction of making something yourself. It feels good.

If you are so exasperated with trying to find a stock glass lid (which isn't made) just do yourself a favor and reread my last msg. It is the simplest and easiest way of getting what you want. Sure beats the effort you've put into constantly bumping this thread. Beatin' a dead horse.
