@ Pleco: I see you aim high in life.. I hope you don't have kids ever coming to you for career advice.. Haha, it's so easy to put other peoples dreams down. I guess people like that are needed in life though. It makes success stories that much sweeter.. Most 14 year olds are out doing things they shouldn't be or wasting their childhood away sitting behind a television. I say he's doing more than most. To the OP, good for you buddy.. Don't let peoples negativity bring you down, use it as motivation to succeed in life. If something you try fails you just learned a valuable life lesson, and you use that lesson as a steeping stone on what not to do the next time.. You will see in life there will always be people who are doers and then there will be people who sit back and say it can't be done.. Those people who sit back and watch and then say "see told you it couldn't be done" take the easy road in life, they too have dreams but are usually to afraid to try to obtain them. So that is also usually why they sit back and shoot down the people who actually do try.. If the doers end up succeeding at achieving their dream that "watcher" will then say aww well he just got lucky.. They will then move on to the next person they can find to give them a "reality check" in order for them to not be alone in their life of what could have been.. Good Luck and never let someone tell you it can't be done, you go and find out for yourself..
